Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Nashville Rescue Mission Unveils Renovated Chapel George Boedecker Jr., co-founder of Crocs, Inc. and founder and chairman of the Boedecker Foundation, provides significant grant to fund the project
NASHVILLE, Tennessee — On Friday, October 25, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. Nashville Rescue Mission will unveil a renovated chapel, complete with new flooring, furniture, sound equipment, screens and high-definition projectors, lighting, acoustic paneling and paint, thanks to the generous support of the Boedecker Foundation. The remodel also included improvements to the stage and seating that will accommodate up to 430 people theater-style or 162 people seated at round tables. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by the monthly graduation ceremony for men who are participating in the Mission’s life recovery program.
“We are so very thankful for the partnership we have with George and the Boedecker Foundation,” said Glenn Cranfield, president and CEO of Nashville Rescue Mission. “The Mission is dedicated to helping the hungry, homeless and hurting, and we look forward to sharing our renovated chapel with the people we serve.”
