Creative & Planned Giving
Being good stewards, the Mission uses donated food and other items needed, especially vehicles, to serve the poor. Donators of appreciated securities, livestock, real estate or company inventory receive substantial tax benefits. Also, once you’ve taken care of everything else, please remember the Mission last in your will. To learn how to include us in your estate planning, call (615) 255-2475.
Giving via United Way
Although the Mission doesn't solicit funds from United Way, you can designate your United Way gift to the charity of your choice. The Mission's donor choice number is 7009.
Donation Center
Please donate non-cash gifts such as food, clothing or equipment at the Mission's Donation Center:
616 7th Avenue South
Monday through Saturday
7:00 am until 7:00 pm
Support in Action
You've heard us say it only costs $2.26 to provide a meal to a homeless man, women or child. But did you know that meal has the power to change a life? A person shows up at the Nashville Rescue Mission hungry and searching for a hot nutritious meal, and what they find is the life God had in mind for them in the first place. Once inside our facility, information is presented on the Mission's life-recovery programs and a path that ultimately leads to a way off the streets. By providing a hot meal for someone in need, your support in action results in another life restored and produces another contributing member of our community.
