Thank you for helping us reach our goal of 1,000 turkeys!
Over the last week, the Nashville Rescue Mission has seen the people of the Volunteer State step up to the plate. A little over a week ago, the Mission had roughly 30 turkeys and with your help and support, we met the goal of having 1,000 turkeys to help feed the hungry and homeless of Middle Tennessee this Thanksgiving.
Tracy Lawrence hosted his annual “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry on Tuesday, November 20. With your gifts, Tracy, along with many celebrity friends and volunteers, were able to deep fry more than enough turkeys to feed the Mission’s guests during this year’s Great Thanksgiving Banquet.
There are so many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We’d like to thank everyone who donated. Whether you donated one turkey, two turkeys or enough to buy 100 turkeys…we appreciate your giving.
Also, a special thank you to Tracy Lawrence! We appreciate Tracy’s commitment to helping the homeless in our community through his support of the Nashville Rescue Mission. We look forward to the annual “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry every year.
In addition to Tracy, there are several sponsors who made the Turkey Fry a HUGE success—Sam’s Club, LouAna, Blue Rhino, Rankam, Ink on Paper Nashville, 103 WKDF, 95.5 the Wolf and 98 WSIX. Thank you!
It is because of your generosity, those seeking food, clothing and shelter at the Nashville Rescue Mission, are treated to a fabulous Thanksgiving day meal with all the trimmings. You make the annual Great Thanksgiving Banquet possible. We cannot thank you enough for your support.
